Stage 1: Drawn design options for client consultation
Initial visit allows me to get a better idea of your site and to discuss your wishes. I take measurements and draw a to scale base map. Design options are drawn up and we meet to tweak the design and let you choose your favoured option.
Hand drawn - Scale drawing showing ideas, options and as much detail as possible. This will put the ideas onto paper. Once ideas presented to you then this is the time to make decisions. Getting to this stage means you have a plan and it starts to come alive for you. It is recommended that you take the process further to more detailed drawings so contractors* have a better idea of what they are quoting for.
*Contractors would be advised to measure the site themselves and that this drawing will not show construction methods and will only show representative product that could be used. If you wish to work with Herbaculture to find contractors and take the design to the Implementation and Maintenance stages please talk to Dan Wheals.
Don't let the initial fee put you off if you are a community group as I may be able to fundraise to support your fee. I will ask for additional travel costs to be paid if over 50 mile round trip from CO8 5AD - 45p/mile.
My USP Unique Selling Point: Wellbeing focus for the garden design mixing herbalism and love of plants.
